The identity of Bitez is the tangerine. The Bodrum Tangerine Festival is held every year in December, during the harvest season, inside the village of Bitez. At the left end of the beach, there are also businesses offering kitesurfing, jet skiing, and water skiing services. Daily boat tours depart from Bitez Pier to Aquarium Bay, Kargıcak Bay, and Rabbit Island.
Beach walk
There is an illuminated walking path stretching along the bay; since the restaurants face the sea, the view remains uninterrupted along the way. Walking along the coast at sunset is a classic Bitez evening routine.
